The best Cuban sandwich ever. Hidden gem in Jamaica Plain, nothing fancy but the food is awesome.

Breakfast is awesome and their seafood plates are excellent! Try the Mariquitas! Also...best café con leche around!

Good food, excellent service, the waitress was so nice and friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and the Cuban music was nice and added to the experience. Overall had a lovely time, oh, and it was inexpensive! Enjoy this hidden gem.

This review is posted by a second generation Cuban who has grown up eating authentic Cuban food both at home and in restaurants... this is the only genuine Cuban restaurant that I have come across in the three years that I’ve lived in the Boston area. The food is excellent and the staff are very nice. I highly recommend it.

It's my new favorite Cuban food restaurant. I'm glad we didn't pay attention to the negative reviews. From Springfield it was 1.5 hours but worth it. Everyone in the group had a different dish. ALL were amazing, very fresh, tasty......😊😍 Maria our waitress was awesome and very helpful. The coffee, perfect. We'll be going back soon.

I’m Cuban from Miami, staying in Needham during COVID quarantine. We found this place on google and after looking at the menu, I instantly knew it would be authentic and it really was. Everything was DELICIOUS and large portions + tons of rice, just like back home. The Ropa Vieja, bistec empanizado, churrasco, bistec de palomilla with onions, tostones, plantain chips and croquetas were legit. Great customer service too. Make sure to give them your business!

More of Dominican flare than Cuban. Something more of a place inviting you to take out.

Amazing restaurant and food. Very cheap prices for a lot of food. My wife and I never had Cuban food before, so I'm glad our first experience was good. Loved the fried plantain chips and the cilantro sauce as well as our entrees. Waitress was very helpful in describing dishes to us and recommending things. Definitely recommend eating here!

Food was ok. Kind of homemade feel. Carpet's old. Every price on the menu was whited-out and rewritten by hand.

Authentic, delicious, fantastic service!

I live in the south shore and don't come very often but when I'm in the city, it's a must stop place to eat and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and wonderful food!! Owner is always welcoming.

Use to eat here when I lived in the area and ate meat went there today unfortunately the rice and beans were extremely dry and the Ripe plantains needed to be more ripe! Vegetarian yellow rice and Tostones we're good but would think twice about going again if rice is that dry

I asked my awesome waitress "what would you have "she said this, this, or this is good." I said "No, if you had to pick something right now, what would you choose? She recommended the chicken. It was the best chicken I have ever had. Wierd bathroom situation, but clean.You are missing out on life if you don't stop by.

I tried the seafood soup and it was great! Their fried cassava is really good as well. Everyone else's order looked wonderdul! The portions are good also.

Tasty affordable food close to the Sam Adams brewery. Family stopped here for lunch after visiting the brewery. Great experience and just what we needed for a large group.

Love Cuban food. Married a Cuban to prove it. Friday is my going out to lunch day at work. I start thinking about Friday's trip to Old Havana on Monday. Try Old Clothes. Love the Cuban coffee. Start with the Cuban Sanwich. It's the only place on Central Street that gets it right.

We were blown away by the food and the service here. We came in to a very bubbly, happy server who was doing her job while singing. We were like wow that’s a great sign.We had shrimp and chicken patties to start and they were so fresh and juicy and well-balanced. We then had the picalonga tapas. I was worried it would be heavy from so much fried food but it was lovely! Especially the tender and juicy beef and chicken. Finally, my friend and I got the skirt steak with chimichurri. I got mine with sweet plantains. It was perfect! They serve it still sizzling. An amazing meal. Highly recommended. Thanks!

Not well executed and not fresh. I’ve had MUCH better Cuban food than this. The Cuban sandwiches we ordered tasted stale and bland, but it was the most edible thing we ordered. We also ordered each with a side of rice and beans, and when they were delivered to us via UberEats all the rice and beans were missing. The sweet plantains we ordered tasted dry and not sweet, like they were made last week and reheated in a microwave. Really terrible. The croquettes we ordered tasted like they were bought in the frozen section of the grocery, not homemade and not good. Will not be ordering here again.

Great food at very reasonable prices. I had the 'drunk goat' which is a delicious stew of goat meat in a tomato sauce. My companion had the 'vegetable tower' which consisted of tasty grilled vegetables. Friendly staff make you feel at home. Well recommended!
